A virtual seminar, Designing Case-Control Studies, will offer examples and advice on designing retrospective observational studies for the evaluation of risk factors, is scheduled on Friday, March 25th.

In this Seminar, Dr. Aniko Szabo; Professor in the Division of Biostatistics, Institute for Health & Equity, will give an overview of settings in which case-control designs are useful. She will discuss several approaches for selecting controls with or without matching, and show examples of successful case-control studies.

The Biostatistics, Epidemiology & Research Design (BERD) Function offers easily accessible, high-quality and efficient consultation support to clinical and translational investigators by connecting them to a network of resources.
