This month’s session was conducted as a book club, featuring The Goal: A Process of Ongoing Improvement, by Eliyahu M. Goldratt. The discussion will focuses on chapters 1-6 of the book, however, it is not prerequisite to read all of them in order to attend and participate in the discussion (a second event will be held in December to discuss the remainder of the book).

Obinna Ekwunife, BPharm, MPharm, PhD is an experienced health economist with additional skills in implementation science, evidence-based public health and data science. He is currently examining differentiated models of HIV service (HIV self-testing, pre-and post-exposure prophylaxis) delivery in sub-Saharan Africa. He is ardent in assessing and identifying cost-effective health interventions for deployment in healthcare settings. Additionally, he was trained in global health, particularly with problems of mobilizing, allocating, and managing scarce resources.
