CTSI Director of KL2 Program Appointed Co-Executive Editor of the American Journal of Hypertension

Theodore A. Kotchen, MD, Professor of Medicine, Associate Dean for Clinical Research, Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Clinical Nutrition and Director of CTSI’s Mentored Career Development Award Program (KL2) has been appointed Co-Executive Editor of the American Journal of Hypertension.

The American Journal of Hypertension is a monthly, peer-reviewed journal that provides a forum for scientific inquiry of the highest standards in the field of hypertension and related cardiovascular disease. The journal publishes high-quality original research and review articles on basic sciences, molecular biology, clinical and experimental hypertension, cardiology, epidemiology, pediatric hypertension, endocrinology, neurophysiology, and nephrology.

Dr. Kotchen also serves as co-director of the Office of Expanding Regional Collaboration, an important arm of CTSI administration.
