Milwaukee Regional Research Forum 9th Annual Viewpoint Luncheon

The Milwaukee Regional Research Forum, Inc. (MRRF) is a citizen inspired organization dedicated to advancing the goals of the CTSI. It was created to inform our community about the CTSI and to communicate the collaborative research activities taking place involving CTSI’s eight partnering institutions: The Medical College of Wisconsin, Marquette University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital, the BloodCenter of Wisconsin, and Milwaukee VA Medical Center.

On November 9, 2018 the CTSI and the MRRF hosted a luncheon and panel discussion on the Research on Childhood Trauma: The Benefits of Sports to Improve Youth Well-Being. This year’s panelists included: Anthony McHenry, CEO, Milwaukee Academy of Science, Matt Myrvik, PhD, Associate Professor of Pediatric Psychology, MCW Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery and Pediatrics, and Brandon Currie, PhD, Head Tennis Coach, IUPUI.
