CTSI Child Advancement Network (CAN) Collective Impact Parent Summit a Success

Parents are the heart of the community and critical to addressing issues of child wellness. The CTSI CAN Collective Impact Parent Summit was held on Friday, November 1, 2019, from 5:30 – 8:30 PM at the Destiny Plaza, to empower parents around advocacy and family engagement.

Over 150 parents and children attended the event with CAN’s Trusted Messenger partner organizations and talked about the importance of the early years of a child’s life, brain building opportunities, immunization awareness messaging, and literacy.

Complimentary dinner was provided, along with family fun activities, speakers, information/resource tables, and lots of giveaways!
