Lizbeth Nunez Named SPARC Coordinator Advisor Deputy by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation

Lizbeth Nunez, CRC I in the CTO, has been a team member of the CTO since April 2019. During this time, she has actively managed several GI studies, including SPARC (Study of a Prospective Adult Research Cohort with Inflammatory Bowel Disease) for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation (CCF). SPARC is part of CCF’s Clinical Research Alliance, encompassing sites nationwide at academic research centers.

In six short months, MCW is a top enroller (154 patients!) in the country, while demonstrating consistency in data and sample collection. Liz has been asked by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation (CCF) to be a SPARC Coordinator Advisor Deputy. Her role is to advise the central CCF team in coordinator engagement, training, enrollment & data/biosample quality strategy planning and conduct. To be asked by CCF to participate in this role is a testament to her excellent work. The CTO and CCF appreciate her efforts!
