The CTSI, in collaboration with the Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is pleased to present a course offering on Human Research Practices and Compliance.
Course Description: Participants investigate the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) to ensure the rights, welfare, and privacy of all individuals participating in research activities.
Topics: Foundations and concepts of Institutional Research Board (IRB) Practices, organizational knowledge, IRB operational functions, as well as documentation practices.
Overall Goal: To prepare participants for careers in translational science. This course will also prepare participants for the Certified IRB Professional (CIP) examination, as well as provide in-depth exposure to the world of oversight of human subjects research from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) lens.[/vc_column_text]
