Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD)
BERD Mini-grants provide limited statistical support to investigators on study design and sample size analysis for up to 6 hours. The types of statistical consultation that mini-grants support include:
- assistance with data analysis plan
- sample size calculation
- consultation for project aims and study design
- short preliminary data analyses related to study design
- review of preliminary data analysis and interpretation of findings
