Participate in a local health screening
The CTSI currently partners with Word of Hope Ministries and the Church of God in Christ as well as the Greater Life Community Center and Greater Galilee Baptist Church to offer health screenings powered by research as part of the Community Care Initiative. Community members are welcome to schedule an appointment to receive:
- heart health screening
- healthy body weight screening
- diet and nutrition counseling
- care referral services
- fatty liver screening
Participants can also choose to join the research portion of the project to improve the overall health of their community! More locations and health services are coming soon!

Word of Hope Ministries Community Care Unit
Our first Community Care Unit was established in partnership with Word of Hope Ministries located at 2663 N. 40th St., Milwaukee, WI 53210. Current services offered at this location include: heart health screening, healthy body weight screening, diet and nutrition counseling, care referral services and fatty liver screening.

Greater Life Community Center Community Care Unit
The Community Care Unit at the Greater Life Community Center located at 2432 N. Teutonia Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53206 is scheduled to open soon. Please check back for updates, information on screenings offered and how to make an appointment!
