Call for Nominees for CTSI Dean's Award 2024
The Dean’s Award in Clinical & Translational Research was created to recognize MCW faculty and staff who have made a significant contribution to advancing translational science and research to improve the health of our community and patients through research and discovery.
The award will be presented at the Faculty Awards and Honors event on the evening of Thursday, September 26, 2024.
Eligibility:
- Investigators who have made a discovery or a breakthrough in Clinical & Translational Research
- An individual who has made significant improvements to the research infrastructure and/or to the process of accelerating translational research at MCW to improve the health of our patients
- An investigator who designed/conducted impactful clinical trials
Definitions:
- Translational Research: refers to the translation of clinical and basic science observations or discoveries, to bedside clinical practice, community health, or dissemination to population-based community interventions.
- Translational Science: the field of investigation focused on understanding and addressing the scientific and organizational challenges underlying each step of the translational process.
Nomination Process:
Candidates for this award can be peer-nominated through the form below. One Awardee per year will be selected by a Dean’s Clinical and Translational Award Committee comprised of prior awardees and ad hoc members.
Deadline: Nominations must be submitted by 11:59pm CST on July 17th, 2024.
Award:
This year’s award will be presented at the Faculty Awards and Honors event at the Harley Davidson Museum on the evening of Thursday, September 26, 2024.
