Child Advancement Network (CAN)

CTSI established the Child Advancement Network (CAN) as a broad-based, comprehensive, and innovative approach to child health via partnerships, advocacy and collaborations aimed at advancing the wellbeing of children across domains of health.

Explore

Mind in the Making and Vroom are FREE and exciting resources that emphasize the importance of brain building with your children during everyday moments. These programs are national efforts of the Bezos Family Foundation that incorporate evidence-based science into the practical application of brain building activities.

Mind in the Making Virtual Training Series

Join us for a virtual training series focusing on Mind in the Making’s (MITM) 7 Essential Life Skills.  These MITM Learning Modules help adults understand and encourage important executive function-based skills children need to thrive. Executive function-based life skills involve managing thoughts, actions and emotions to achieve goals. Each module will be provided in 30-minute increments over four scheduled courses by instructors via Zoom:

  • Friday, February 3: 12:00pm-1:00pm
  • Friday, February 10: 12:00pm-1:00pm
  • Friday, February 17: 12:00pm-1:00pm
  • Friday, February 24: 12:00pm-1:00pm
