The 3rd Annual Milwaukee Regional Research Forum (MRRF) and Public Policy Forum Viewpoint Luncheon was held on Monday, October 29th at the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee West Hotel. This year’s T. Michael Bolger Awards were presented to Dr. James S. Hyde, MCW, Professor of Biophysics and Director of the National Biomedical Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) Center and Martin Kaiser, Senior V.P. and Editor, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The Viewpoint Luncheon panel discussion topic was Milwaukee’s Information Technology Infrastructure: Do We Have What It Takes To Compete? The panelist included Jay Bayne, Executive Director, The Milwaukee Institute; David Crass, Director of Research Cyberinfrastructure, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; Tina M. Chang, CEO, SysLogic, Inc.; and Nancy Olson, CIO, City of Milwaukee. The panel was moderated by Kathleen Gallagher, Business Reporter at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Prior to the luncheon was a poster session that included 26 CTSI sponsored research projects.
