CTSI Translational Research Units: Infrastructural support for the conduct of clinical and translational research

Join CTSI at the next Human Research Professionals Monthly Meeting

On Wednesday, April 25th the Human Research Professionals Monthly Meeting will feature the CTSI Translational Research Units (TRUs). Carlos De La Peña, CTSI Administrator, Ed Minter, Manager TRUs and Laura Becker, Interim Director CRI, Manager P-TRU will present the research community with information regarding available resources, facilitation services and introduce key personnel.

CTSI Translational Research Units provide optimal clinical research environments for both, research participants and translational investigators. The TRUs provide infrastructural support for the conduct of clinical and translational research by providing access to space, resources and the expertise of research support personnel. The presentation will include information about the Adult TRU, the Pediatric TRU and the VA TRU.

A panel of TRU personnel will be on hand to answer questions and discuss how our research support infrastructure can assist investigators with grant writing, IRB navigation, nursing support, bionutrition services and more.

The meeting is open to all research faculty and staff, but registration is required. Lunch will be provided.
