01 Mar Research Collaboration with Dental Faculty
The Marquette University School of Dentistry is interested in linking its dental research expertise with clinical and basic science projects being developed or implemented by researchers through the CTSI of Southeastern Wisconsin and its affiliated academic partners (Medical College of Wisconsin, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Milwaukee School of Engineering and Marquette University). Available dental clinical expertise includes, but is not limited to:
- Dental examinations
- Dental implantology
- Oral health services
- Oral and maxillofacial radiology
- Oral medicine
- Oral pathology
- Oral surgery
- Cariology
- Periodontal diseases
- TMD and myofascial pain
- Xerostomia
- Collection of dental plaque, saliva and other oral fluids and tissues
