CTSI Council of Faiths

The CTSI has established a novel and innovative group, “CTSI Council of Faiths” (CoF), representing diversity, equity and interdenominational faith groups.  The overarching goal of the council is to advise and assist the CTSI in its mission to ‘advance the health of our communities through research and discovery’.  The CoF held its inaugural meeting on January 18, 2021 and meetings are scheduled quarterly.

The CoF discussions will center around development of specified objectives for the group, the approach to take in advancing healthcare and importantly, how to build trust in one another in service to the community, and how to operate as ‘equal partners’ in the CTSI Mutually Learning Tri-lateral Ecosystem (healthcare enterprise, community, research enterprise).  Members of our CoF interdenominational group have also signed up to hold Science Cafés at their churches.
