Jacey Sirinit

My journey at the Medical College of Wisconsin began with the CTSI 500 Stars Program. I knew that I wanted to become a physician but was not familiar with the scientific world and what it entailed.

Participation in this program gave me the opportunity to work alongside doctors and researchers and acclimate myself with the scientific world and how that can translate into a clinical setting. I learned different research techniques and developed important skills that continue to aid me in my career today.

The CTSI 500 Stars program gave me the confidence to apply to medical school and provided a solid foundation for me to build upon now in the MD program at the Medical College. The 500 Stars CTSI program was when I first become part of the MCW family, and it is a significant reason for me continuing to be part of the MCW family as a rising second year medical student.
