Join us for an educational experience on approaches to eating healthy by understanding food and nutrition labels. Explore why a healthy diet is important and ways to overcome dietary challenges. Hear about science-based weight loss and weight maintenance strategies. Explore what food labels really mean (i.e. All Natural, Organic, No Added Sugar, etc.) Learn how to identify ingredients that are good or bad and learn how understanding nutrition labels can aid healthy weight loss.

About the Session Leader

Andrea Moosreiner, MPH, RD, CD
Bio-Nutrition Program Manager
MCW CTSI Adult Translational Research Unit

Andrea Moosreiner has been a registered dietitian with the CTSI Adult Translational Research Unit for the past 8 years. She holds a graduate degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Public Health and understands that eating right is different for everyone. Her nutrition knowledge is rooted in science, however, she maintains a realistic approach to eating healthy.
