Clinical Trial Metrics from ct.gov

Our HUB has created a pipeline to provide an automated analysis of CT.GOV trials information to gauge current institutional interventional trial participation and metrics to compare trends to our academic and health system peers over time.

Approach
Approach

In order to provide a consistent and automated review, the following has been developed.

  • A monthly automated download of the entire CT.GOV site (1st of the month)
  • Parsing and creating a database of all the trials data (402,977 as of 2/1/2022)
  • We are then able to develop reports of snapshots of current state
  • We are then able to develop trending reports/graphs over time of of F&MCW and selected peers.
