CTSI Discovery Radio Wins Gold & Bronze in the 38th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards

Our CTSI Discovery Radio podcast has received two additional national awards from the 38th annual Healthcare Ad Awards program for 2020.

Specifically, our March 2020 podcast (episode #71), “Breathtaking: The Serious Risks of Vaping” won a Gold Award, and our January 2020 podcast (episode #69), “414Life: A Public Health Approach in Battling Gun Violence” won a Bronze Award in the podcast division.

Over 4,400 entries were received for this year’s categories, making the Healthcare Ad Awards the largest and oldest healthcare advertising/marketing competition in the U.S. (and one of the ten largest advertising/marketing awards programs for all industries).

A national panel of judges reviewed all entries based on creativity, quality, effectiveness, consumer appeal, overall impact.

Gold Awards were presented to 445 entries, Silver Awards to 322 entries and Bronze Awards to 245 entries.

In the podcast category, CTSI was one of only four (4) institutions to win multiple awards, giving our podcast rather exclusive status.

Combined with our recent Milwaukee Press Club Award for Excellence in Wisconsin Journalism in that competition’s Pandemic Showcase podcast category, CTSI Discovery Radio is receiving significant recognition on the local/regional, state and national levels.
